A common question I get asked is whether a certain core exercise is safe – especially for things like diastasis recti or pelvic organ prolapse.
And there are so many ideas floating around the interwebs on what core exercises are “mom safe”.
I get how easy that makes things.
You can put certain exercises in a box labelled “safe” and other exercises in a box labelled “unsafe”.
But the truth is that it’s not that black and white. There’s a whole lot more grey going on.
And another truth is that, if you want to feel stronger, faster, then you’ll actually want to avoid this idea of only doing mom safe core exercises.
Here’s why…
Now I’d love to hear from you – have you been trying to find mom safe core exercises? Now that you know the truth, what’s going to be your next step?
Let me know in the comments below.
And if you liked this video please share it with all your mom friends.
My goal is to help moms feel more confident and capable in their body. That means not being afraid to try certain exercises and activities.
If there’s something that you want to be able to do, let’s work together to make it happen.
Because you deserve to feel good, confident, and strong in your body.
Whether you’re picking up your baby or climbing up a mountain.
“Getting your body back” doesn’t have to be all about the aesthetics. Getting your body back can mean being able to do the things you love without worrying if your body can handle it.
At least that’s how I feel.
What’s your take?
❤️ Jenna
