I came into the program struggling with lower back pain and struggling with my overall core strength.
Now I feel so much stronger and I don’t have the pain.
Before working with Jenna, I’d been working out pretty regularly for about 7 months. But I was getting some back pain so I thought that maybe my core wasn’t as strong as I thought it should be and that maybe I needed to slow down and focus on that before going back into higher intensity stuff.
I was really struggling and feeling lost because normally exercise is the one thing I can count on. But it was stressing me out because I didn’t know what to do. So this program absolutely came at the right time for me.
It was great because I was still getting exercise and I still felt like I was getting a good workout in but it wasn’t as intense. It was perfect for what I needed.
I’ve also always struggled with confidence – with looking in the mirror and not feeling like “eww”. So it’s nice now getting stronger and realizing that being strong is better than being skinny. I like looking in the mirror and flexing and feeling like “Oooh! Look at that muscle! I can see it! I’ve never seen that before.”
And I liked that it wasn’t a bunch of crunches and jumping jacks and stuff like that. So many core programs are a million crunches and I didn’t want that. It was the perfect blend of exercises and I liked that there was variety because I get bored very, very easily. I liked that it changed every two weeks and that there was the different modifications so I never got bored. It was also nice to just have the program I could follow. I didn’t have to think about it.
Jenna’s program is perfect for a newer mom or a mom that isn’t already exercising regularly and who wants a stronger core and stronger glutes. It was a nice gradual build up instead of jumping into all this intense exercise right away.

“My core feels stronger and my lower back feels less sore.
Before I started working with Jenna, there was a major imbalance between my right and left sides because I was constantly carrying my boys on the left side.
Once I started her program, I noticed a pretty significant improvement in my glute strength and core stability.
I can even feel my glutes engaging when they’re supposed to. That probably doesn’t sound like a big deal, but for someone who has never really been able to feel my glutes working, it really is!
I love that Jenna’s programs are designed so that the time commitment is pretty doable, you don’t need a lot of equipment so it can pretty much be done anywhere, and the exercises are simple, but super effective.
I also really liked how intentional each exercise was. Nothing ever left me wondering “Why am I doing this exercise? What’s the point of it?” And she makes programs that get more and more challenging as you go along.

“It was nice to get that support from Jenna and feel like ‘I’m not failing‘
And how the workouts got progressively more challenging so I could really feel my strength develop over the 12 weeks.
I signed up to work with Jenna because I was looking to get that solid foundation of core strength and just overall strength before moving into other workouts.
I’m a Marine and we have a really difficult physical fitness test that we have to do. And since this is my second baby, I felt like my body was a lot weaker the second time around than it was after my first baby.
And really my biggest concern was getting my core strength back before I started trying to train harder again. Because I didn’t want to get hurt. So I was looking for a postpartum-focused program where I could gently ease into things.
And now, after doing the program, I can do the everyday movements I need to be able to do like sitting up out of bed just with core strength instead of having to roll over to the side and struggle to get up, or get up and down off the floor with just my legs instead of having to push myself up with my arms, and even just holding my kids. Now I know how to hold them in a way that feels good and supports my core.
One of my favourite parts of the program was Jenna’s weekly emails. I felt like they were really on point and they gave me some validation like, “Hey, being a Mom is hard. And you may set a schedule and it may go great that day, and it may not. And that’s okay. You just try again tomorrow.”
Because sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves. So it was really nice to have a coach say, “Hey, it’s okay. Life happens.” It was nice to get that support – even though I get some of that with my mom friends. Because sometimes being a mom and being on maternity leave, it can be a little isolating. So it was nice to get that support from Jenna and feel like “I’m not failing, I’m just having a hard day and that’s okay. Tomorrow will be better.”
I also liked that there were quick workouts we could do because sometimes you only have so much time to get a workout in. So it’s nice to have some quick, to the point workouts. Jenna also made it easy to customize the workouts – make them easier or harder – based on how I was feeling that day.
And it was great to have the Flow-Thru videos where I could just follow along. It made it so much easier because I could just watch it and mimic what Jenna was doing. Because it’s hard when you’re trying to do a workout program and it’s like “Follow these steps, here’s a description.” Being able to just watch it and feel like I was in a class, following along was great.
I think this program is great for any busy mom who has limited time to workout and is looking for a guided workout program that she can do on her own schedule.
A mom who wants to get back into fitness without injuring herself. She wants to be smart about this and it’s not this intense “I’m going to make you sweat like crazy and you’re gonna get shredded” kind of thing. Someone who’s looking to workout smarter and get stronger overtime. That’s who Jenna’s program would be great for.”

“Even every day stuff is easier and I can do things like run around on the playground with my daughter and feel good.
I knew I wanted to sign up for Jenna’s program because when I found her and started reading her blog I felt like, “Yes! Exactly! That’s how I feel. Finally someone who understands.”
Before her program I was worried because I didn’t know what I could do and couldn’t do in terms of exercise, what was okay or safe. That was really challenging – to not even know what to do or where to start. And now I feel like I don’t have to be so worried.
